The Al Ain Book Festival 2023 provides a variety of programmes for all family members through 5 main pillars that support its mission of building a reading generation connected to the heritage and authentic values of the Emirati society, appreciating the pioneers of culture, knowledge, and arts, empowering youth, and consolidating the Al Ain city's prominent position.

A collection of insightful seminars, discussions, and poetry events with a wide range of topics covered, most important of which are sustainability, building up children's development, and youth empowerment. It presents inspiring tales of female volunteers, encourages innovation, and discusses samples in children's literature, novel creativity, and other fields, in addition to special day events, including group marches and workshops held in honour of World Children's Day.
An elite group of artists and specialists in various fields will present artistic and creative workshops in the Arts Corner, as well as artistic and musical performances on stage and touring performances throughout the day. A distinct closing ceremony will wrap up the Festival’s activities.
Kemaidesh bin Abdulwahed bin Abdullah bin Numan Al Kaabi was born in 1947 in “Al Hayr”, near Al Ain city in Abu Dhabi. He attended public schools before joining the police force and rising to the rank of officer, serving in various regions of the country.
The programme includes everything related to children's and youth's culture and raising the next generation, as well as activities that excite them, contribute to their growth, and develop their skills within a diverse entertaining and educational framework.
Life is full of different styles that feed our ever-changing interests. As a result, this programme focusses on organising daily interactive workshops that include various types of arts, as well as positive health practises, stimulating meditation, and other skills presented by renowned specialists.
In celebration of the figures of Nabati poetry and their legacy of timeless sung poems that have become famous locally and in the Arab World over the past few decades, and for the second year in a row, the Al Ain Book Festival dedicates a full programme to honouring poets of the sung poems from Al Ain and beyond, whose sung poems are well-known among various segments of society.
We welcome you to Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, where you will wander among the exhibitors' stands, where all branches of knowledge are at your hands. We offer many activities and events for the whole family, and school visits are also welcome.

Al Qattara Arts Centre is an important part of Al Ain city's artistic and cultural scene. It is regarded as a pioneering and significant centre for displaying and creating unique works of art.
Located on the western side of the Al Ain city entrance, Qasr Al Muwaiji witnessed an important stage in the UAE's history, and its construction represents a high example of architecture that relied on mud brick construction at the beginning of the 20th century.
Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa is a historic house within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Al Ain.

As part of the strategic partnership between the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre and the United Arab Emirates University, the university opens its halls for many sessions of the Festival’s cultural programme, Tackling multiple topics such as novels, children's literature, cinema, and others.
Al Ain Mall, with hundreds of international retailers and dozens of restaurants and cafes, is one of the city's most essential shopping and entertainment destinations.
Al Foah Mall is one of the major landmarks in the heart of Al Ain, offering a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The mall features a wide range of products that include fashion, cosmetics, and jewellery, as well as a large number of retail outlets, a food hall, and entertainment centres.
Barari Mall has dozens of stores, including several international brands, a family entertainment centre, and a food court, as well as a wide range of products such as clothing, personal care products, and household goods.
Opened in 2016, Zayed Central Library is the largest public library in Al Ain.
The library hosts The First ‘Kanz Al Jeel Award’ Ceremony as well as specialized workshops.
